Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Azizi AI voice service, the marketplace, the client console and the platform APIs operated by Azizi Africa.

Last updated: 23 August 2026 · Governing law: Republic of Kenya

Please have these reviewed. This document is a starting template prepared for Azizi Africa. It has not been reviewed by an advocate. Have a qualified Kenyan legal practitioner review and adapt it before you rely on it commercially.

1. Who we are

The service is operated by Azizi Africa ("Azizi", "we", "us"), Nairobi, Kenya. You can reach us at info@aziziafrica.com or +254 768 227585.

2. Accepting these terms

By calling an Azizi AI number, using the marketplace, signing in to the client console, or calling our APIs, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.

3. The service

Azizi AI answers ordinary phone calls with a conversational AI agent in Swahili, Sheng or English, and offers a voice-driven marketplace connecting buyers and sellers. Organisations may additionally use the client console and the platform APIs to configure agents, review transcripts and integrate their own systems.

We may change, suspend or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will give reasonable notice through the console or by email.

4. AI output is not professional advice

Responses are generated by an automated system and may be incomplete or wrong. Nothing the agent says is legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Do not rely on it for decisions that carry legal or financial consequence without independent verification. You remain responsible for decisions you take.

5. Calls are recorded and processed

Calls to Azizi AI are recorded, transcribed and processed so the agent can respond and so we can improve the service. Callers are notified at the start of the call. If you do not consent, end the call. How we handle that data is described in our Privacy Policy.

If you deploy Azizi AI to your own customers, you are responsible for giving them lawful notice and for having a valid basis to process their personal data.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

We may suspend access immediately where use threatens the integrity of the platform or another customer.

7. Accounts and access

Console access is granted to organisations. Keep credentials confidential and tell us promptly at info@aziziafrica.com if you suspect compromise. You are responsible for activity under your credentials.

8. Marketplace transactions

The marketplace introduces buyers and sellers. Unless we say otherwise in writing, Azizi is not a party to the resulting contract, does not take title to goods, and does not guarantee any listing, price, quality or delivery. Disputes are between buyer and seller; we will provide records we hold where lawful.

9. Fees

Consumer calls may carry standard operator charges — those are levied by your mobile operator, not by us. Organisation pricing is set out in your order form or console plan. Fees exclude taxes unless stated. Late payment may lead to suspension after notice.

10. Your content and our platform

You keep ownership of the content and data you submit. You grant us a licence to host and process it solely to provide and secure the service, and to meet legal obligations. We keep ownership of the platform, models, software and documentation. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation.

11. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service unless a separate service level agreement is in place. Maintenance, operator outages and upstream provider failures can interrupt calls.

12. Liability

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business or lost data; and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, or KES 50,000 where you paid nothing.

13. Indemnity

If you use the service in breach of these terms or of applicable law, you will cover our reasonable losses and legal costs arising from third-party claims about that use.

14. Ending the arrangement

You may stop using the service at any time; organisations should follow the notice period in their order form. We may end or suspend access for material breach, unlawful use, or non-payment after notice. On termination we delete or return your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above will change and, for material changes affecting organisations, we will give notice through the console or by email.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have exclusive jurisdiction. We would rather resolve things directly first — write to info@aziziafrica.com and we will engage in good faith.
